Mission/Vision/Values
Mission Statement: The focus and goals of the LaSalle Businesses Association are to actively encourage, promote and support growth and investment for the mutual benefit of our Business Community and region.
The group was formed to give local businesses a voice in LaSalle Ontario.
We advocate and lobby Municipal, Provincial and Federal Governments on behalf of our Members
We are organized by a Board of Directors which consists of volunteers who care about the community and the businesses which serve them. Meetings are held the first Thursday of the Month at the Town of LaSalle Boardroom from Noon to 2:00 pm Members are always welcome to attend.
There are sub-committees which take care of various functions we offer.
Information about what is happening in LaSalle is shared through advertising, this website, email and events held throughout the year.
There is a wide variety of businesses in LaSalle and it is our hope that all businesses see the benefit of being members of the LBA.
For several years now one of the major projects has been the LaSalle Business Directory (LaSalle's phone book). It has been published approximately every two years. Many businesses and residents have found this directory very valuable. (Next Publication date Spring 2013)
The membership fee is affordable for even the smallest business including home-based businesses.
The cost of advertising on the website is the best value around.
We are involved in the community through fundraisers, Academic Bursary Sponsorship for students and business awards.
